Aesthetic Medicine Treatments
More than a question of appearance, what we do is also about health, self-esteem and confidence. Aesthetic medicine can help on many levels!
Explore our range of state-of-the-art procedures designed to enhance your natural beauty.
Hyaluronic acid
Filling with hyaluronic acid is one of the most popular facial rejuvenation techniques. As we age, our face loses volume in terms of bone, fat and hyaluronic acid. This loss of volume makes it easier for the skin to droop and therefore appear more aged. It is possible to place hyaluronic acid in strategic points in order to replace lost volumes. Studying these points allows for a natural result. It can also be used for lip augmentation, cheekbones, nose reshaping, earlobes, hand fillers.
The effect is immediate and does not require anesthesia or recovery time. The effect of hyaluronic acid lasts from 6 to 9 months (up to 2 years with the application of MD Codes). MD Codes are injection points studied to apply hyaluronic acid to the face, based on the physiology of aging. The technique allows us to know exactly where the volume that is lost with age should be replaced and thus mitigate the effects of aging. It's much more natural than just treating wrinkles and folds. The application is made to the skin's support points, which guarantees better results. It is a quick, simple and safe process.
Botulinum Toxin
Botulinum toxin, known as “botox”, is a substance that allows temporary relaxation of muscles. The treatment of expression wrinkles on the face, caused by muscle contraction, has a very satisfactory and natural effect. It also prevents new wrinkles. Its use is most frequently indicated for “crow’s feet”, forehead wrinkles, wrinkles located between the eyebrows, “gummy” smiles, among others. It is also used for the quality of oily skin, in the treatment of headaches and excess sweat secretion (hyperhidrosis) on the face, armpits, hands and feet.
The technique does not require any type of anesthesia and the results of the treatment appear in 3 to 7 days. To maintain the results, you can repeat the treatment after 5 to 7 months.
Biostimulators
Biostimulators are active ingredients that are compatible with the human body. When applied to the skin, they stimulate the production of collagen, a protein responsible for the skin's support and firmness.
Thus, they improve the appearance and health of the skin in a natural and minimally invasive way.
The main types of collagen biostimulators that exist are:
- Calcium Hydroxyapatite
- Poly-L-lactic Acid
- Polycaprolactone Threads
Its main actions are:
- Improve skin texture;
- Reduce sagging;
- They can promote a slight increase in volume in the applied areas (depending on the technique applied);
- Definition of facial contour.
Skinbooster
The word skinbooster in Aesthetic Medicine means to boost or intensify the skin's luminosity. As we age we lose the freshness and radiance of our skin due to external aggressions (pollution, sun) and lack of hydration. Hydration is provided by the water we drink and exerts its action through the presence of hyaluronic acid. Skin Booster is low-density hyaluronic acid that allows the fixation of water molecules in the dermal region of the skin. The treatment consists of injecting low-concentration hyaluronic acid, painlessly, with the aim of hydrating the skin evenly. Can be applied to the face and hands.
The result is younger, healthier-looking skin, without any type of increase in volume on the face.
The effect is immediate and improves if we drink adequate water. The procedure is carried out on the entire face and lasts between 3 and 6 months.
IPL - Intense pulsed light
Intense pulsed light technology emits pulses of intense light at different wavelengths.
It will act selectively on structures such as melanin (hair and brown spots) and hemoglobin (vessels and redness).
This selectivity will allow the treatment of blemishes, blemishes and redness, without affecting normal skin.
The energy of intense pulsed light gradually improves skin texture and tone, eliminates enlarged pores, improves redness, acne, couperose-rosacea, blemishes and small wrinkles.
LASER FRAX 1550
The Frax 1550 Laser is suitable for skin with a rough texture and fine lines, and the results have been surprising in terms of improving skin quality, irregularity and gaining smoothness.
100% of patients are very satisfied with the result.
This treatment rejuvenates the skin by applying small, very controlled pulses of light to the area to be treated.
The heat stimulates the production of collagen, which allows the skin to rejuvenate.
Non-ablative fractional laser treatments renew the superficial layers of the skin, which stimulates collagen production and makes the skin's surface silkier and less sagging.
As the laser is applied fractionally, it allows for rapid healing and recovery.
High intensity focused ultrasound
HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) - Ultraformer commercial brand , presents excellent results in both facial and body treatments, due to its excellent stimulation of collagen production.
High-intensity focused ultrasound is one of the few technologies that can precisely eliminate adipose fat cells, without affecting other areas of the tissue, simultaneously acting on sagging skin.
At face level, the areas where this technique can be applied are:
- Upper third: wrinkles, raised eyebrows, improvement of dark circles and/or lower eyelid bags
- Lower third of the face (sagging, jaw contour)
- Submentum (sagging and/or double chin)
- Neck (wrinkles and sagging)
- Peri-orbicularis area of the labia (where “bar code” is included)
- nasolabial fold
At the body level, the ultrasound technique is indicated for flaccidity and fat located in the following areas:
- Abdomen
- Flanks
- Outer area of the thighs
- Inner thigh area
- Knees
- Arms
- Armpit
- Buttock lift
Nutriglow
At the basis of skin aging, both physiological and sun-induced, there is a fundamental issue: the slowing of normal skin functions. Cellular regeneration in our body becomes slower and repair mechanisms are not as effective as during our youth.
To compensate for this lack of activity, aesthetic medicine relies on increasingly effective external aids: active principles capable of stimulating these functions and enhancing the skin's self-regeneration, such as hydration with hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, healing and anti-inflammatory action with vitamins B5 and B6, co-enzymes such as Q10 or antioxidant vitamins such as vitamin E.
Nutriglow consists of replacing such ingredients, using the mesotherapy technique or subcutaneously.
Through facial mesotherapy, we also combat, among others, sagging with organic silicon and amino acids, wrinkles, blemishes or lack of luminosity with vitamin C. The most important thing is to personalize each treatment for each patient and each situation to obtain the best result.
